Architectural Record Announces 2013 Excellence in Advertising Awards

NEW YORK - June 21, 2013 – Architectural Record, McGraw-Hill Construction's prestigious publication, has presented its 17th Annual Excellence in Advertising Awards to 62 individual companies and agencies.  The awards breakfast hosted more than 300 manufacturers, agencies, and architects in Denver today during the AIA 2013 National Convention and Design Exposition.

More than 150 advertisements were judged.  Advertisements were considered from the first four issues of 2013 in Architectural Record (in print and online) and in the January/February issue of GreenSource. Winners were judged for content and graphic presentation by a jury of 10 admired architects from across the country, representing the breadth of the profession.  Esteemed jury members included: Billie Tsien of Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects; Rand Elliott of Elliott & Associates Architects; Michael Winters, FAIA, LEED AP, BD+C of Fentress Architects; Marlene Imirzian, FAIA of Marlene Imirzian & Associates Architects; Graham Hogan, AIA, LEED of Antoine Predock Architects; Tania Salgado, AIA, LEED AP of RNL Design; Tim Kwiatkowski, AIA of FGM Architects; Rich Cogburn, AIA, LEED AP of Cooper Carry, Inc.; Diane Rogers, AIA, IIDA, LEED ID+C of SmithGroup JJR; Setareh Soltani, LEED AP of PGAL.
