As senior director, editorial operations for McGraw-Hill Construction/Dodge, Cliff Brewis is responsible
for the organization’s newsgathering operation. He is a frequent speaker on the construction forecast.
In addition to his current duties with McGraw-Hill, Cliff is an active member of the American Institute
of Architects California Council Integrated Project Delivery Committee, whose goal is to increase
collaborative construction processes. He has over 30 years of experience in construction, including
25 years with McGraw-Hill in sales and operations. He has worked in Detroit, Grand Rapids,
Washington D.C. and San Francisco.
McGraw-Hill Construction is the leading provider of construction information in the industry. MHC connects people, projects, and products through Dodge, Sweets, Architectural Record, Engineering News-Record, Regional Publications, Document Management, and Economic Forecasting services.
Cliff holds a degree in economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He has an M.B.A from American University in Washington D.C.

Stiles Construction Co.
Tim joined Stiles Construction Co. in 1983 and has been successfully leading the company as President since 1994. He is responsible for strategy, market identifi cation and penetration, and overall corporate guidance. He also holds executive responsibility and authority for all construction operations. Client satisfaction is job one for Tim, who is involved in contract negotiations and transactions on all major projects. Having built millions of square feet for Stiles Corporation, Tim and his team have walked in the owner’s shoes and they have high expectations for honesty, quality, and a solid return on investment.
Tim worked in the industry on a highway expansion project before joining Stiles in 1983, where he began as an Estimator and Project Manager and earned positions as Chief Project Estimator, Senior Estimator, and Vice President of Preconstruction before becoming President. As President, Tim has made his mark. Annual revenues have increased over 1000 percent from $35 million in 1995 to over $351 million. Th is is due, in part, to the many clients who return to Stiles again and again knowing they’ll receive exceptional products and services.
