Our panelists will explain how industry organizations are educating their members and industry leaders are encouraging project teams to adopt new technologies and processes that facilitate deeper collaboration and better results; how contract agreements are transforming to facilitate project environments of collaboration and integration; and how new technologies are improving workflows among all parties in a project through improved understanding and collaborative processes.

Lunch Keynote: 2008 U.S. Construction Outlook -- Midyear Update
The construction industry over the past two years has been largely defined by the steep downturn for homebuilding, but at the same time nonresidential building and public works have held up quite well. In 2008, the economy has moved closer to recession, and financing has tightened for both private and public projects. This keynote will update the 2008 projections for U.S. construction start activity, with the focus on the changing prospects for nonresidential building and public works.
