When you register on one of our web sites, your personal contact information provided on the registration form (including your name, e-mail address, and fax) is added to an electronic mailing list so that we can fulfill your order and, from time to time, send you product information or news about changes to our web site. In addition, McGraw-Hill Construction may share this data collected about subscribers with:

• Other units within the family of The McGraw-Hill Companies;
• Third party vendors who are authorized to use this information solely to perform services (such as a “mailing” house) on our behalf
• Companies outside The McGraw-Hill Companies whose products or services we feel may be of interest to you;
• Applicable project owners and architects so that they can monitor use of their intellectual property rights in the applicable plans and specifications;
• Companies outside The McGraw-Hill Companies for purposes of lead generation.  These may include sponsors of our Continuing Education courses and white papers, manufacturers of products you demonstrate interest in throughout our Web sites or other businesses who may contact you based on a listing in a directory published by McGraw-Hill Construction that includes your contact information.

Your information will be maintained in a secure database in the United States and the database will be accessed only by authorized employees.

Use of Cookies and Browser-Level Information

A "cookie" is a small piece of information that a Web site can store in a designated file on your computer.  Cookies can be used, among other things, to identify you when you log in to a Web site, and may track your IP address in order to do so. 

McGraw-Hill Construction and our advertisers use cookies to customize your experience on our Web sites.  Cookies help us avoid having you see the same advertisements multiple times and ensure that the advertising you receive is as relevant as possible. McGraw-Hill Construction does not use cookies to collect any personally-identifiable information and we do not give third-party advertising companies access to your personally-identifiable information.  

In addition, we may use Web beacons, provided by third-party advertising companies, to help manage and optimize our online advertising and product performance. Web beacons enable us to recognize a browser's cookie when a browser visits this site, and to learn which banner ads bring users to our Web site.

McGraw-Hill Construction only authorizes third parties to employ anonymous cookies for ad delivery and anonymous targeting.

The Disable Cookies button should be checked.  You may need to download a more current version of your web browser from your service provider in order to obtain this option.
