As a construction project management professional, you understand the time pressure that’s a direct result of the difficulty juggling hundreds of details to ensure construction projects go smoothly. So, you’ll be happy to learn that Dodge Construction Central and Dodge PlanRoom users now can upload project details, plans, specs and other bid documents directly to the leading mobile construction project management solution, PlanGrid.
This simple, yet powerful feature will save construction managers countless hours entering data and manually transferring files and, as a result, eliminate the headaches associated with discovering you’re missing critical documents and data when you’re out in the field. With a few clicks of your mouse, project details and documents will be sent to PlanGrid.
To send documents to PlanGrid from Dodge Construction Central, simply click the Share button in the Project report view.
You’ll see a pop-up window with a list of all available documents, where you can select PlanGrid destination and then choose all or only the specific documents you need by checking the boxes and then clicking
Once you’ve selected the documents you need, simply click the Share button to send the documents and project details to PlanGrid.
To send documents to PlanGrid from Dodge PlanRoom, simply click the Share button in the Projects view.
You’ll see a pop-up window with a list of all available documents, where you can choose all or only the specific documents you need by checking the boxes.
Once you’ve selected the documents you need, simply click the Share button to send the documents and project details to PlanGrid.
That’s it. The next time you log in to PlanGrid, your documents will be waiting for you.
