Outlook Integration provides the ability to integrate data from the McGraw-Hill Construction Network’s database into an individual’s MS Outlook 2003 (MS Outlook) files. Outlook Integration includes adding appointments, contacts and tasks into MS Outlook from the McGraw-Hill Construction Network.
The ability to add Microsoft Outlook appointments, contacts and tasks will be made available when data on a company or project is displayed. This functionality is accessible with Project and Company based screens.
Accessing the Functionality
The ability to add Microsoft Outlook Appointments, Contacts, and Tasks will be made available when data on a company or project is displayed. The following pages provide accessibility to adding a MS Outlook Appointment, Contact, and Task:

Functionality Overview
Based upon which of the above listed screens you are on, and the functionality of that screen the following three MS Outlook integration icons may be displayed:

NOTE: In order to bring the data from the network into MS Outlook you must use a McGraw-Hill supplied MS Outlook add-in called the Synchronizer. The Synchronizer installs as an add-in with your copy of MS Outlook 2003 and is used to import your Appointments, Contacts and Tasks. ;Please reference the Outlook Integration
section on the Main Menu page to install the Synchronizer.
Functionality – Add an Appointment
Network allows the user to add appointment information (See also: Add Outlook Appointment) to be synchronized with the users Outlook Calendar. This appointment information will include: Subject, Location, Start Time, End Time, Categories, Notes and an Alert field.
Functionality – Add a Task
Network allows the user to add task information (see also: Add Outlook Task) to be synchronized with the users Outlook Task folder. This task information will include: Subject, Start Date, Due Date, Priority, Categories, Notes and an Alert field.
Notes: All but the Categories, Notes and Alert items are completed by the McGraw-Hill Construction Network and are not editable until the data is in your MS Outlook client application.
